We’re Spudd™ Tools – two Irish brothers, John and Luke, based in the UK on a mission to make tools that make life easier.
 

The idea came straight from the job site. John’s a carpenter, cutting noggins and timber crosscuts day in, day out. It’s a repetitive job – and made worse by having to knock together a makeshift timber jig whenever you can’t be arsed to lug out the chopsaw (only for the jig to stop fitting once the timber swells or the joists throw you off). Cue wasted time and plenty of grumbling.
 

So we came up with the Spudd™ X-Cut Jig – an aluminium, adjustable jig built for quick, repeatable crosscuts with a power saw. No need to haul a chopsaw up scaffolding or bodge together a timber jig ever again. Wherever you’re working, the Spudd™ Jig keeps things simple: measure, set, cut, repeat.
